Job Description
Job Title: Manager North‑West Benelux Role Summary: Increase Group sales in Belgium and the Netherlands through prospecting, account management, and new product launch. Drive profitability, volume, and market share by negotiating distribution deals, setting pricing, and fostering customer loyalty. Expectations: • Achieve sales targets in collaboration with line management. • Deliver timely visit reports in CRM and analyse performance. • Maintain active market watch and contribute to event participation. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a targeted action plan for prospects (importers, traders, manufacturers). • Conduct up to four client visits per day to present products and opportunities. • Negotiate and monitor commercial agreements (distribution terms, pricing, volumes, product introductions). • Manage existing account portfolios and drive loyalty and growth. • Enter visit reports into CRM; analyze sales data and propose improvement plans. • Coordinate internally on lead times, product availability, and dispute resolution. • Monitor competition, trends, prices, volumes, and innovations. • Support event organization and participation. Required Skills: • Fluency in French and Dutch; German and English an advantage. • Strong organization, rigor, and priority management. • Leadership combining firmness and diplomacy. • Team orientation, curiosity, and proactivity. • Ability to travel extensively (average 3–4 nights/week). Required Education & Certifications: • Minimum 2‑year higher education diploma (5‑year preferred). • At least 5 years’ experience as a traveling industrial or building‑materials salesperson. • Knowledge of wood industry or building‑materials distribution networks is a plus.
