Job title: Expert TALEND‑Data Engineer (F/H)
Role Summary: Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of Talend Data Fabric 8 for batch and real‑time data exchanges, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory compliance. Serve as the technical liaison for the LAITA IT community and contribute to migration initiatives and continuous process improvement.
Expectations:
- Champion Talend platform ownership and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, external partners, and governance bodies.
- Deliver high‑quality, secure, and compliant data integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Animate and support the Talend developer community (IT LAITA).
- Lead development projects: estimation, execution, contractor oversight, and testing.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex incidents, and drive process improvements.
- Author architecture documents, exchange flow matrices, interface specifications, and repository management docs.
- Partner with domain and application owners to industrialize and enhance operational processes.
- Enforce development standards, production deployment processes, and security policies.
- Provide technical inputs for platform sizing and infrastructure design.
- Coach internal experts and developers on integration and data governance.
- Configure, monitor, and secure deployed services; ensure reliability and security.
- Manage data lifecycle in accordance with GDPR.
- Participate in the migration program of existing ETL/ESB flows to Talend and its steering committee.
Required Skills:
- Profound expertise in Talend Data Fabric, especially ESB, ETL, API, and batch processing.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of SFTP, web services, and other interoperability technologies.
- Familiarity with BODS, ODI is a plus.
- Experience with IT governance, PSSI, and data security best practices.
- Excellent team collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Autonomous, analytical, and proactive problem‑solving.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant Talend certifications (e.g., Talend Data Fabric Developer) strongly preferred.
