Job Description

Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer Role Summary: Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Lead migration projects, automate infrastructure deployment, and maintain high availability and performance for clients. Expectations: - Deliver robust Azure architectures and continuous improvement. - Meet tight deadlines while prioritizing tasks. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership. - Participate in on‑call support and maintain service quality. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement Azure infrastructure (VMs, Storage, Synapse, Databricks, Sentinel, etc.). - Design, test, and deploy IaC solutions using Azure Bicep/Terraform. - Plan and execute cloud migration activities, providing post‑migration support. - Configure and manage Azure networking (Virtual Networks, Firewall, Ad/Entra ID). - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. - Automate provisioning and monitoring with Azure CLI, PowerShell, Python. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize resource performance and cost. - Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices. - Create and update internal policies, standards, and documentation. - Provide on‑call support for managed services. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Azure services and architecture patterns. - Experience with Azure networking, firewall, and identity (AD/Entra ID). - Hands‑on IaC with Azure Bicep and/or Terraform. - Strong scripting in PowerShell or Python. - CI/CD pipeline development and Azure DevOps expertise. - Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights). - Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and Microsoft Defender/Sentinel. - Version control proficiency (Git). - Excellent troubleshooting, prioritization, and communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Microsoft certifications: AZ‑104, AZ‑305, AZ‑500 and/or AZ‑400 are preferred.
