**Job Title:** Sales Development Representative **Role Summary:** Act as first point of contact for prospective customers, driving outbound outreach and qualifying leads to create a pipeline of high‑quality opportunities for Account Executives. Manage all stages of prospect engagement via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn, and provide customer insights to internal teams. **Expectations:** - New into sales career or transitioning from another field. - Self‑motivated, resilient, and quick to learn. - Communicate clearly, build rapport quickly, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. - Meet outbound activity and pipeline‑conversion targets and actively test outreach tactics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own outbound prospecting: make cold calls, send emails, engage on LinkedIn to initiate conversations. - Conduct discovery calls to understand buyer’s goals, pain points, and priorities. - Qualify leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives. - Track activity and performance metrics, analyze results, and recommend improvements. - Share customer feedback with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to influence strategy. - Represent the company at events, conferences, and other buyer venues. - Engage in continuous learning through sales training, coaching, and mentorship. **Required Skills:** - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Strong research and qualification skills. - Persuasive phone and email outreach capability. - Resilience and proactive follow‑up. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Basic understanding of SaaS/technology sales (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) acceptable; specific field not mandatory. - No licensing required. ---
