**Job Title:** Full‑Stack Developer – AI Features Squad
**Role Summary:**
Develop end‑to‑end AI‑driven features for a fast‑growing European insurtech. Work within a senior startup team to translate ambiguous product ideas into robust, production‑ready solutions using a modern TypeScript stack, cloud infrastructure, and AI/LLM tooling. Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and user trust while shaping the AI component of the tech stack.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver AI proof‑of‑concepts quickly and scale them to reliable production services.
- Identify and prioritize relevant AI use cases, experiment rapidly, and decide on industrialization.
- Uphold security, performance, and reliability despite fast‑paced experimentation.
- Influence tooling, frameworks, and best practices for LLM integration, retrieval systems, and evaluation pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to turn vague concepts into concrete implementations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, implement, and maintain full‑stack AI features (frontend React + backend Node.js/ tRPC).
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and Kubernetes (GKE) deployments using Terraform and ArgoCD.
- Write automated tests (Vitest, Playwright, Cucumber) to ensure code robustness.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and monitor performance/security metrics.
- Evaluate and adopt AI/LLM tools, GPU resources, and evaluation frameworks.
- Participate in sprint planning, technical design sessions, and cross‑functional alignment.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, tRPC, and modern front‑end libraries (Emotion, TanStack Router).
- Experience with cloud-native environments: Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, ArgoCD.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with event‑sourcing concepts and building scalable backend services.
- Hands‑on experience with AI/ML integration, LLMs, retrieval‑augmented generation, and GPU‑enabled workloads.
- Ability to write clean, readable, performant code and apply design patterns.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaborative skills in a fast‑moving startup context.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/GCP Cloud Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus but not mandatory.
