B2B Trade Marketing Manager
**Role Summary**
Spearhead all B2B marketing initiatives for a national used‑car marketplace, driving dealer acquisition, retention, and brand presence. Lead strategic planning, creative execution, and performance reporting across digital, print, and PR channels, while managing external agencies and internal stakeholders to achieve measurable growth.
**Expectations**
- Deliver consistent, value‑driven dealer communications (email, SMS, newsletters).
- Develop and execute targeted multi‑channel campaigns that support dealer acquisition and cross‑sell initiatives.
- Showcase the organization’s industry reputation through PR, sponsorships, and trade index participation.
- Provide clear performance insights and optimize CRM platforms to support sales activity.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Lead all dealer‑focused communications: craft, schedule, and distribute newsletters, product updates, and operational messages via email, SMS, and ancillary channels.
2. Own end‑to‑end agency management: brief, supervise creative, print, and PR partners; ensure high‑quality deliverables for dealer retention and acquisition.
3. Plan, execute, and optimize data‑driven multi‑channel campaigns (Mailchimp, SMS, cross‑sell) in partnership with sales and product teams.
4. Build and maintain trade marketing assets—digital and physical POS collateral—to support dealer onboarding, growth, and brand visibility.
5. Amplify industry presence through PR activities, index reporting, sponsorships, and award submissions.
6. Analyze campaign performance, generate insights for stakeholders, and lead Salesforce optimisation projects to enhance sales effectiveness.
**Required Skills**
- Proven agency‑management experience with strong brief‑writing and project‑leadership capabilities.
- Advanced Mailchimp proficiency: campaign setup, audience segmentation, performance optimisation.
- Robust B2B marketing background, adaptable to multi‑channel execution; B2C insight considered a bonus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; compelling storytelling and confident presentation skills.
- Data‑driven decision maker, skilled at balancing creative concepts with KPI focus.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, capable of juggling multiple priorities and budgets efficiently.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Campaign Management, Salesforce Administrator, Digital Marketing) are an advantage.
