**Job Title:** Senior Technical Presales Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Seasoned technical presales professional who partners with sales teams to design, present, and validate cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers. Acts as the bridge between client needs and product capabilities, delivering compelling demonstrations, proposals, and proof‑of‑concepts across a portfolio of security technologies.
**Expectations:**
- 3–5 years proven experience in technical presales or solution engineering within the cybersecurity domain.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct discovery workshops and requirement analyses to map customer challenges to appropriate security solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demos, and proof‑of‑concepts for firewalls, PAM, EDR, SIEM, IAM, DLP, and email protection platforms.
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs, prepare solution architecture diagrams, and author detailed technical proposals and pricing models.
- Provide pre‑sale technical expertise to sales teams, assisting in opportunity qualification and deal strategy.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging security threats, product roadmaps, and industry best practices.
- Liaise with product management and engineering to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep technical knowledge of network security (firewalls, VPNs) and endpoint/identity protection (PAM, EDR, IAM, DLP, email security).
- Proficiency in designing and integrating SIEM solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; capable of creating solution architectures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to conduct demos and proof‑of‑concepts in both on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with sales processes, CRM tools, and proposal management.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac + 5 or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or vendor‑specific credentials (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point, Splunk, CrowdStrike).
