**Job Title**
Senior IT Project Manager / PMO
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT initiatives, ensuring projects are executed on scope, time, and budget while aligning with strategic objectives. Manage stakeholders, governance, financial tracking, and resource utilization across multiple concurrent programs.
**Expectations**
- Deliver projects with high quality, minimal risk, and within approved budget and schedule.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, internal teams, and executive sponsors.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of PMO processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own full project lifecycle: concept, planning, execution, transition to production, and post‑go‑live support.
- Conduct solution evaluation, cost estimation, risk analysis and resource planning.
- Organize and lead governance meetings (committees, steering groups) and produce meeting minutes.
- Manage vendor relationships and contract compliance.
- Oversee financials: create and update budget dashboards, track expenditures, analyze variances, and issue alerts.
- Coordinate resource allocation, validate timesheets, and monitor run‑to‑project activity ratios.
- Produce consolidated weekly and monthly reports; present findings to leadership.
- Contribute to annual strategic and financial planning and set KPI targets.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient with project portfolio management tools (e.g., Clarity PPM).
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Experience with collaboration suites (Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Self‑driven, proactive, and detail‑oriented with a results‑focused mindset.
- Prior experience in banking, insurance, or related regulated sectors is highly desirable.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional project management certification preferred (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
