Job Description

**Job Title:** Staff AI Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and deployment of production‑grade AI systems integrating predictive models, large language models (LLMs), and agentic frameworks. Serve as the technical leader for an AI engineering team, collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure scalable, reliable AI capabilities within the platform. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust, scalable AI solutions that meet performance and reliability standards. - Drive architectural decisions for multi‑agent and LLM components. - Establish and maintain MLOps pipelines and monitoring processes. - Mentor and grow a team of senior AI engineers and PhDs. - Communicate effectively with product, data, and software stakeholders in a fast‑paced startup environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and implement production‑ready AI systems, including predictive ML models and LLM‑based services. - Design and build agentic and multi‑agent frameworks for intelligent workflow orchestration. - Oversee LLM fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, evaluation, and domain‑specific deployment. - Implement end‑to‑end MLOps CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring, and automated retraining. - Integrate knowledge graphs and structured reasoning (e.g., Neo4j, RDF) with LLM pipelines. - Lead cross‑functional initiatives to embed AI capabilities into the broader platform. - Provide technical mentorship, code reviews, and foster a culture of experimentation and ownership. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years AI engineering experience with production predictive models and LLM systems. - Proven expertise in Python and PyTorch; hands‑on with LangGraph or similar agentic frameworks. - Deep knowledge of multi‑agent architecture, RAG, prompt evaluation, and controller‑executor patterns. - Strong MLOps background: CI/CD, model registry, monitoring, automated retraining. - Experience with knowledge graph technologies (Neo4j, RDF) and graph‑based reasoning. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Databricks. - Demonstrated leadership of small technical teams and mentorship of engineers. - Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and collaborative skills; startup‑ready mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred). - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer) are a plus.
