**Job Title**
HR & Administrative Assistant – Disability Care Facility
**Role Summary**
Provide comprehensive human‑resources and administrative support for a specialized care facility serving adults with disabilities. Liaise with senior management to ensure accurate personnel records, payroll administration, recruitment, onboarding, and general office functions.
**Expectations**
- Deliver timely, accurate HR documentation and payroll data.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage personnel files: contracts, amendments, trial periods, medical visits, and compliance records.
- Collect and forward payroll variables, track hours, absences, leave, and benefits.
- Handle staff requests: certificates, leave authorisations, general information.
- Maintain and update the HR information system (SIRH).
- Assist in developing and implementing skills‑development plans.
- Draft, publish, and manage job postings; screen candidates and schedule interviews.
- Facilitate new‑hire orientation: welcoming, document preparation, trial period monitoring.
- Prepare, format, and circulate correspondence, internal communications, and meeting minutes.
- Update reporting files and support management in daily planning, dossier tracking, and meeting preparation.
- Manage incoming communications, supplies orders, and petty equipment.
- Contribute to internal communication: notices, postings, newsletters.
- Propose improvements to HR tools, procedures, and methods.
**Required Skills**
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of payroll processes and payroll systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High level of discretion, accuracy, and ethical conduct.
- Organized, proactive, and enthusiastic about HR.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Familiarity with CCN 51 collective bargaining agreement is a plus.
