Job Description
**Job Title:** Marketing Intern **Role Summary:** Support the corporate marketing team by assisting with creative development, event coordination, brand management, and AI‑enabled marketing operations. Collaborate across internal departments and external partners to ensure consistent, engaging brand presence and efficient campaign execution. **Expectations:** - 40 hours/week for a 6‑month term (possible extension to 9 months) - Primarily remote work with weekly travel within NYC for events and onsite support - Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Provide design samples and portfolio links with application **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and edit branded materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and internal tools - Act as liaison for external design vendors; manage timelines and quality control - Maintain brand guidelines and ensure visual/ messaging consistency across channels - Coordinate logistics for corporate and client‑facing events (e.g., PulsePoint Summit, advisory councils) with partners such as Medscape and WebMD - Support AI and marketing technology initiatives: audit tech stack, implement AI tools for lead generation and campaign automation, present improvement recommendations - Contribute to employer branding efforts (employee spotlights, culture campaigns, charitable initiatives) - Track project timelines, update stakeholders, and provide backup support during high‑volume periods **Required Skills:** - 1+ year experience in marketing, communications, or related role (internship counts) - Strong organizational and project‑management abilities - Creative mindset with basic design proficiency (Canva required; Adobe Suite a plus) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams and external vendors - Proactive, can‑do attitude and eagerness to learn - Interest in health‑tech, innovation, and brand building - Must reside in NYC for event support **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program (or recent graduate) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field - No specific certifications required; portfolio of design/event work must be provided.
