**Job Title:** Full Stack Engineer – Python/Next.JS (Remote)
**Role Summary:**
Develop and maintain a distributed healthcare AI platform, integrating back‑end Python services, a Chrome extension, Next.js front‑end, and Postgres database. Build secure, fault‑tolerant systems that interface with Google Drive, Outlook, EHR APIs, and messaging queues. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver compliance‑aware features on time.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end features within sprint cycles.
- Maintain high reliability, security, and compliance (HIPAA, encryption).
- Partner with teammates on architecture, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement Python back‑end services for task orchestration, queue management, and API integration.
- Build a Chrome extension for browser automation on healthcare sites.
- Develop responsive Next.js interfaces for user configuration and analytics.
- Model and manage data in Postgres, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Integrate third‑party services (Google Drive, Outlook, EHR) via REST/gRPC with secure authentication.
- Deploy and monitor distributed systems on cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Implement secure LLM interactions, including call handling and reasoning.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with privacy/security standards (HIPAA, encryption, secure enclaves).
**Required Skills:**
- Proficient in React/Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python (FastAPI, Django, or similar).
- Strong SQL experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with messaging/queue systems: Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
- REST/gRPC API design and implementation.
- Experience with OAuth2, JWT, or similar secure authentication.
- Knowledge of cloud deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
- Understanding of HIPAA/PII data handling and encryption.
- Ability to work asynchronously in distributed teams.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- No mandatory certifications required, but familiarity with cloud and security certs (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, GCP Cloud Architect, CISSP) is a plus.
