**Job Title**
Azure DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, build, and operate scalable, high‑availability Azure cloud solutions. Lead migrations, automate deployments, and ensure continuous operational excellence while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end Azure architecture and migration plans.
- Automate infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and environment provisioning.
- Maintain platform availability, performance, and security.
- Communicate clearly, work independently, and drive proactive improvements.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Define target architecture for applications on Azure.
2. Select appropriate Azure services and technologies.
3. Propose migration or re‑architecture plans to clients.
4. Build and integrate infrastructure using IaC (Terraform).
5. Automate deployment, autoscaling, on‑demand environments, and resource lifecycle.
6. Recommend application changes for cloud compliance.
7. Operate and monitor public‑cloud platforms (run‑book, uptime, performance).
8. Contribute to continuous deployment tool development.
**Required Skills**
- Azure Public Cloud (App Services, VMs, AKS, AKS, Storage, Networking).
- Infrastructure as Code – Terraform (core).
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Configuration management (Salt, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) & Windows server administration.
- Web servers: Apache, Nginx.
- LAMP stack configuration & performance tuning.
- HTTP caching (Varnish, Memcached, CDN).
- Load balancing (Azure Load Balancer, HAProxy).
- NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB).
- Search & logging (Elasticsearch, Solr).
- Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Programming (Python, Go).
- Strong written & verbal communication.
- Self‑motivated, organized, methodical, proactive.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑300/301, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).`
