**Job Title:** MES Application Manager / Project Manager (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Lead the management, evolution, and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across production sites in an agri‑food environment. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring optimized MES functionality, quality, and security while guiding technical knowledge transfer and future architecture decisions.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in IT project management or manufacturing within an industrial/agri‑food setting.
- Proven track record of successful MES implementation and maintenance in a production plant.
- Strong command of Windows environments and MES components such as COOX, KepServer, NiceLabel or equivalent.
- Demonstrated leadership, autonomy, and the ability to work cross‑functionally with both business and technical teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Direct continuous improvement and corrective maintenance of MES applications.
- Facilitate business‑IT collaboration, providing consulting and training to end‑users.
- Maintain long‑term technical and functional knowledge of the MES solution.
- Plan and execute MES roll‑outs, configuration, and post‑go‑live support for new sites.
- Contribute to architecture selections (software, databases, custom development) and IT system urbanization.
- Act as subject‑matter reference – troubleshooting, risk alerts, and technology monitoring.
- Coordinate with plant teams, attending on‑site visits as needed.
**Required Skills**
*Technical* – MES lifecycle management, Windows platform administration, COOX, KepServer, NiceLabel or similar, database fundamentals, basic development concepts, ERP integration, IT security principles.
*Project Management* – project scoping, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder communication, change control, delivery oversight.
*Soft Skills* – analytical thinking, meticulousness, self‑directed initiative, curiosity, perseverance, pedagogical communication, leadership, collaborative teamwork.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (equivalent to Bac+4/5) in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
- Professional certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2, Agile) and/or MES/ERP platforms preferred.
