Job Description: **Job Title** Functional IT System Architect **Role Summary** Lead the design, definition, and evolution of enterprise architecture for a large internal IT organization. Work within a cross‑functional architecture team to develop architecture models, maintain the enterprise architecture repository, deploy modeling and governance tools, and provide strategic advisory to technical architects and development teams. **Expectations** - 10+ years of IT experience, with a progression from engineering, project/option management (MOE/AMOA) to an architectural role. - Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments. - Strong analytical, advisory, and presentation capabilities; comfortable translating technical concepts to business stakeholders. - Commitment to long‑term enterprise initiatives and continuous knowledge transfer within the team. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Define, maintain, and evolve the enterprise architecture repository. 2. Design and formalize architecture models (target, journey, and cartography). 3. Deploy, manage, and govern modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate). 4. Support IT urbanisation projects and ensure solution coherence across the enterprise. 5. Collaborate closely with technical architects, development teams, and IT stakeholders. 6. Act as an internal consultant, offering long‑term strategic advice. 7. Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and foster the maturity of the architecture team. **Required Skills** - Deep IT knowledge and experience in architecture frameworks. - Proficient with TOGAF and ArchiMate modeling. - Experience establishing architecture frameworks, referential models, and governance workflows. - Strong interpersonal, diplomatic, and relational skills. - Ability to analyze complex systems, work independently, and propose innovative solutions. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. - Certified TOGAF – Enterprise Architecture Practitioner. - Knowledge of ArchiMate (preferred). ---
