Job Description
Job title: Information Systems Engineer (Bilingual, 2+ years experience) Role Summary: Deliver a revitalized IT environment for a growing SME, streamline processes, and steer the organization toward ISO27001 compliance while maintaining optimal service quality and security. Lead a small IT team, manage tool selection, deployment, and evolution, and propose technical and organizational improvements. Expactations: • Minimum 2 years in an IT leadership role (RSI/DSI or equivalent) within a small-to-medium enterprise (≤200 employees). • Proven ability to manage and improve IT operations in dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assess user needs and identify/select internal or external tools, overseeing their deployment and maintenance. 2. Develop or enhance internal web tools using Python, Java, and related technologies. 3. Implement organizational and technical measures to achieve ISO27001 compliance. 4. Analyze current operations, propose technical and process improvements for efficiency and control. 5. Manage the IT team: human, technical, and functional aspects (currently 2 members). Required Skills: - Experience as an IT director or similar (RSI/DSI). - Strong knowledge of Unix, Windows, and macOS systems. - Deep affinity for Linux and open‑source solutions; familiarity with advanced technical details. - Proficiency in Python and Java for web tool development. - Technical English fluency. - Strong analytical, rigorous, curious, and challenge‑oriented mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - ISO27001, ITIL, or equivalent security/management certifications are desirable.
