Job Description
**Job Title** Freelance Process Engineer – Investments **Role Summary** Deliver end‑to‑end process engineering for the bank’s investment products, ensuring solutions are customer‑centric, regulatory compliant, and digitally mature. Act as the bridge between business, IT, and client‑facing teams in an agile setting, driving continuous improvement and change management across the investment portfolio lifecycle. **Expectations** - Execute and lead at least 5+ years of process engineering projects in a financial services environment. - Fluent in French, Dutch, and English; capable of translating complex requirements across stakeholder groups. - Demonstrate ownership, independence, and proactive leadership in multi‑disciplinary initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Own end‑to‑end business processes for investment contracts: from client request through product delivery. - Collaborate with Product Owner to define, document, and validate solutions, ensuring alignment with strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency goals. - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives) and report progress to Tribe and management levels. - Lead change management activities, coordinating with Go‑to‑Market and IT teams to deploy new or modified processes. - Map, analyze, and improve the client journey, ensuring high availability, stability, and adaptability to niche market needs. - Gather, challenge, and synthesize internal and external stakeholder requirements. - Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of investment product domain (funds, bonds, etc.) and regulatory frameworks (MiFID, ESG, etc.). - Strong process modelling, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. - Proven experience with Agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse stakeholders. - Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of delivering innovative solutions. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. - Professional certifications in process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, PMI‑PMP, or equivalent) are advantageous.
