**Job Title**
Principal Engineer – Senior Project Manager (ITIL)
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end ServiceNow implementation projects under fixed‑price contracts, ensuring on‑time delivery, scope integrity, budget discipline, and compliance with security and regulatory standards. Act as the primary liaison between development teams and client stakeholders, driving governance, risk mitigation, and change management.
**Expactations**
- Deliver 2–3 full ITSM implementations on a fixed‑price basis.
- Maintain financial control, controlling burn rate and scope creep.
- Provide proactive risk assessment and mitigation plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to security and compliance requirements.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with executive leadership and client stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Management & Delivery** – Develop and execute detailed project plans, milestones, RACI, and communication cadences for ServiceNow modules (Incident, Change, Asset, CMDB, ITOM).
- **Scope & Financial Control** – Define deliverables and acceptance criteria, manage change orders, track resource allocation, and report on burn rate, scope, and financials.
- **Risk & Issue Management** – Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, triage issues, and manage PCRs.
- **Stakeholder & Client Communication** – Conduct requirement sessions, weekly status updates, executive briefings; manage client expectations and drive collaboration.
- **Governance & Documentation** – Maintain project governance, deliverable documentation, and stakeholder reporting.
- **UAT, Training & Go‑Live** – Oversee UAT, create technical/functional documentation, supervise end‑user training, and support Hypercare transition.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and custom workflows.
- Proven fixed‑price project delivery (budget & scope control).
- Project governance, risk and change management.
- Strong stakeholder and client communication.
- Familiarity with waterfall and hybrid project methodologies.
- Knowledge of security compliance in IT projects.
- US public‑sector experience (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 14+ years of IT project management experience.
- PMP, ITIL, or ServiceNow certifications highly preferred.
