Job Description
Job Title: IT Engineer / Desktop Engineer (F/M) Role Summary: Design, deploy, and secure Windows desktop environments and IoT solutions within a complex IT ecosystem. Act as a desktop architecture advisor, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure, standardizing practices, and supporting operational teams. Expectations: - Deliver reliable, secure desktop and IoT deployments that meet business needs. - Collaborate cross‑functionally to define architecture, standards, and best‑practice documentation. - Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for day‑to‑day operations and complex incidents. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate and industrialize Windows 10/11 desktop applications and IoT solutions. - Validate compatibility with existing infrastructure and enforce cybersecurity standards. - Create and maintain supervision and monitoring solutions for operational teams. - Design IoT architecture in partnership with Infrastructure, Network, and Applications teams. - Document technical standards, best practices, and contribute to system standardization. - Conduct technology scouting to identify innovations that enhance performance and security. - Support incident resolution, partner with vendors, and drive remediation plans. - Mentor and elevate the skill set of operational staff. Required Skills: - Expertise in Windows desktop environments (10/11) and configuration management. - Knowledge of Windows security concepts (endpoint protection, GPO, AD, MFA). - Experience with IoT integration and industrial networking. - Familiarity with project management principles. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively and share information proactively. - Proficiency in English (professional level). Required Education & Certifications: - Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent) are a plus. - Knowledge of Android technologies and industrial IT environments is an asset.
