**Job Title**
Senior Project Engineering Manager – HVDC EPC
**Role Summary**
Lead technical execution of large‑scale HVDC EPC projects (US$1–2 billion) within the Product Delivery Group, managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, interfaces, and stakeholder communication to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to technical specifications.
**Expectations**
- Deliver engineering scope for projects of US$100 M–US$1 B+ while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance.
- Manage risk, change, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership and decision‑making in a multi‑region environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all engineering activities across project phases (design, construction, commissioning).
- Direct multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring integration, consistency, and adherence to milestones.
- Serve as technical point of contact, facilitating decisions among engineering, procurement, construction, and client teams.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, partners, and suppliers, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Monitor and mitigate risks through a structured risk register, mitigation plans, and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, EHS standards, and industry best practices.
- Report project progress, issues, and KPIs to governance bodies and participate in strategic reviews.
**Required Skills**
- Project management expertise in EPC environments, with proven delivery of 2+ medium‑to‑large projects.
- Strong technical acumen in HVDC systems, high‑voltage electrical engineering, or related disciplines.
- Leadership of multidisciplinary, cross‑cultural teams and stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in risk and change management, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Electrical Transmission, or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE, or equivalent) preferred.
