Dublin-based, privately-owned Staycity Group was co-founded in Dublin in 2004 by CEO Tom Walsh and has since grown to become one of Europe's leading aparthotel operators. The properties, which operate under the Staycity Aparthotels and the premium Wilde Aparthotels brands, appeal to business and leisure travellers. Offering central city locations, well-equipped, design-led apartments, fantastic customer service and facilities that include a guest laundry, gym, lounge, cafe and 24-hour reception.

Staycity currently operates more than 30 aparthotels across its Staycity and Wilde brands with the total estate, including signed pipeline, at 10,000 keys. Over the past 18 months the company has opened a record 12 new sites across Germany, France, Ireland and the UK. A further six aparthotels are scheduled to open through 2024/25 which will take Staycity into Amsterdam, Cambridge, Munich, Lisbon and Porto for the first time.

Job Title: Sales Manager Role Summary: Oversee and expand sales operations for a leading urban aparthotel portfolio across Europe, focusing on corporate, group, and extended‑stay segments. Lead client acquisition, account management, and brand promotion through targeted events, presentations, and digital channels. Expectations: - Drive revenue growth and maintain profitability for assigned properties. - Build and sustain high‑value relationships with corporate bookers, agencies, and key stakeholders. - Demonstrate a proactive, results‑oriented mindset in fast‑paced environments. - Travel regionally as required to support business development efforts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Plan and execute local and national sales strategies, including trade shows, road‑shows, and marketing campaigns. 2. Secure and manage new corporate accounts, group bookings, and extended‑stay contracts. 3. Generate competitive proposals and quotes within agreed profit margins. 4. Collaborate with marketing and operations to align promotional activities and pricing. 5. Maintain accurate sales, pricing, and activity records in CRM and property management systems. 6. Leverage sales tools (Salesforce, Opera, IDEAS, Agency360, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to identify leads and track performance. 7. Report on sales metrics, forecast, and market trends to senior management. Required Skills: - Minimum 2 + years of hotel/aparthotel sales or property account management experience. - Strong knowledge of corporate business travel, group, and extended‑stay markets. - Proficiency with Salesforce, Opera, IDEAS, Agency360, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities. - Self‑motivated, can‑do attitude with willingness to travel.
