Job Title: Industrial Engineer Role Summary: Optimize manufacturing processes, drive operational excellence, and improve productivity across production lines. Analyze data, balance resources, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet performance targets sustainably. Expectations: - Background in Garment Technology or Textile Engineering. - Demonstrated experience in process optimization and continuous improvement. - Data‑driven mindset with strong KPI analysis and bottleneck identification. - Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Ability to work hands‑on on the factory floor and support multiple sites. - Fluency in Dutch, proficiency in English; French required, German a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement industrial engineering strategies aligned with organizational goals. - Evaluate and redesign manufacturing workflows and production systems for efficiency gains. - Monitor KPIs, conduct capacity planning, and forecast production demands. - Identify bottlenecks, propose and implement throughput‑improving solutions. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives and cost‑reduction projects. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. - Serve as liaison between IE management and departments (BD, R&D, Quality, Maintenance). - Utilize data analytics and modeling tools for informed decision making. - Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for new projects and process changes. Required Skills: - Industrial engineering methodology, process mapping, lean/6σ principles. - Data analytics (Excel, statistical tools, basic modeling). - Project management and change‑management skills. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Proficiency in Dutch; strong English; French required; German a plus. - Ability to travel frequently to support plant sites. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Garment Technology, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. - Certifications in Lean Six Sigma (green or black belt) preferred.
