Job Description
**Job Title** Accounts Payable Manager **Role Summary** Provide strategic leadership and day‑to‑day oversight of the global accounts payable function, implementing standardized processes, enhancing controls, and driving automation to support cross‑border financial operations. **Expectations** - Extensive experience managing AP teams in multinational environments. - Proven track record of process improvement and system implementation. - Strong ownership, teamwork, and professional communication skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead, coach and develop the AP team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. - Design, document and implement consistent end‑to‑end AP processes across multiple currencies and entities. - Strengthen financial controls, segregation of duties and compliance across geographies. - Evaluate current system usage and spearhead adoption of AP automation and workflow technology. - Oversee weekly and monthly payment runs, supplier management and reconciliations. - Escalate and resolve AP issues promptly, maintaining high service levels. - Produce accurate, timely reports for finance leaders, highlighting risks, cash‑flow impacts and improvement progress. **Required Skills** - AP management and team leadership in an international context. - Process mapping, improvement, and project management. - Knowledge of AP automation tools and workflow technologies. - Strong analytical, reporting and risk‑management abilities. - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and change‑management skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (preferred). - Professional finance/accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred but not mandatory.
