Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end delivery of a high‑profile commercial new‑build scheme, managing programme, trade coordination, client liaison, and sustainability‑focused site management. Expectations: • Own full project lifecycle from inception to hand‑over. • Deliver on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. • Maintain strong relationships with client, design consultants, and supply chain to secure future phases. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, manage, and track the project programme. • Coordinate trade packages and oversee subcontractor performance. • Act as primary interface for client, design consultants, and site teams. • Provide buildability and value‑engineering input throughout the project. • Ensure safe, clean, high‑quality site with a sustainability‑led approach. Required Skills: • Proven experience as Project Manager on commercial new‑build schemes. • Strong programming, planning, and trade coordination. • Autonomous decision‑making and leadership capability. • Excellent client‑facing communication skills. • Knowledge of Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Excel. • Familiarity with timber‑frame construction (beneficial). Required Education & Certifications: • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme). • First Aid at Work. • CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
