**Role Summary**
Lead a globally distributed engineering team in the Data, Analytics & Intelligence organization to design and deliver scalable, data‑centric platform services. Champion data architecture, platform engineering, and product thinking to enable consistent, governed data capabilities, including enterprise data mesh, KPI definition, GenAI integration, and self‑service tooling.
**Expectations**
- 10+ years software engineering experience, 5+ in leadership.
- Proven ability to deliver large‑scale, cloud‑native data platforms.
- Strong communication, stakeholder influence, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Pragmatic, customer‑value focus with continuous improvement mindset.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and oversee data‑centric frameworks, APIs, and services at scale.
- Drive the development of enterprise data mesh and marketplace for federated ownership.
- Define and enforce engineering standards for security, reliability, scalability, and self‑service.
- Integrate GenAI/LLM capabilities into BI and reporting workflows.
- Partner with Product and Principal Engineers to align solutions with business needs.
- Mentor and grow engineering teams, fostering trust, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Evaluate strategic and financial impact of new capabilities, features, and investments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and iterate data strategy accordingly.
**Required Skills**
- Data platform expertise (Databricks, Snowflake, EMR, Airflow, Kafka, Spark).
- Distributed systems and cloud‑native architecture (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform).
- CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Git, pipeline orchestration).
- AI/ML and GenAI knowledge for automation and analytics.
- Strong ownership and delivery focus, with ability to prioritize customer value.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder influence, and problem‑solving.
**Required Education & Certifications**
