**Job Title:** Director, Data and Analytics
**Role Summary:** Senior executive responsible for defining the organization’s data strategy, building and leading a high‑performing analytics and BI team, and overseeing data platforms on Microsoft and Google Cloud to drive business growth through actionable insights.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver measurable business impact by turning data into strategic actions.
- Lead the evolution of the data organization, including future data engineering and science capabilities.
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards across all systems.
- Communicate complex findings in clear, compelling narratives to executive leadership.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build, mentor, and manage a data analytics and BI team, setting KPIs, processes, and a collaborative culture.
- Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Data and Analytics division aligned with corporate goals.
- Oversee advanced audience analysis using Google Analytics, Comscore, SimilarWeb, and other tools.
- Design and enhance dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI and Google data solutions.
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for content, marketing, product, and sales leaders.
- Architect and maintain a scalable data ecosystem: ingestion, integration, quality, and governance across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new analytics technologies, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling practices.
- Prepare to lead Data Engineering and Data Science functions, integrating these into the organization’s strategy.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven leadership and team‑building in data/analytics roles.
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Power BI, Fabric, and Google Analytics, BigQuery ecosystems.
- Strong SQL proficiency; familiarity with Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and multi‑project management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to influence senior executives.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and quality standards.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
- Significant experience managing high‑performing analytics/BI teams, preferably in media industry.
- Certifications in Power BI, Google Analytics, Microsoft Azure data services, or similar are advantageous.
