Job title: Solutions Engineer
Role Summary: Serve as the primary technical partner for customers, driving end‑to‑end API integrations with Gigs’ platform. Bridge engineering, product, and business teams to tailor solutions, manage projects, and shape feature development.
Expectations: • 5+ years in implementation, professional services, or product management within B2B SaaS, ideally fintech or HR.
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi‑geography API integrations.
• Strong project management, able to run multiple high‑priority projects simultaneously.
• Technical aptitude for APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and integration patterns; comfortable advising on architecture.
• Commercial sensibility to align technical solutions with conversion and revenue goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end‑to‑end customer implementation lifecycle: requirement scoping, feature selection, integration design, testing, and deployment.
- Act as the main technical liaison between customer engineering/product teams and Gigs’ engineering.
- Provide UX/UI advisory on endpoint selection and user flow to achieve high‑conversion experiences.
- Lead project planning and execution using tools such as Smartsheets, Asana, or Linear; set milestones, track progress, and ensure on‑time delivery.
- Coordinate cross‑functional roadmaps with Business Development, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align on objectives and release plans.
- Identify and propose new product features that unlock customer use cases, working with Product and Engineering to prioritize and deliver.
- Apply commercial analysis to each implementation, validating that technical solutions support revenue targets and user acquisition metrics.
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, authentication, and versioning.
- Project management (Agile, Kanban, Scrum) and scheduling expertise.
- Product thinking: ability to translate customer needs into feature specifications.
- Commercial acumen: understanding of pricing models, conversion funnels, and ROI metrics.
- Superior communication: concise documentation, stakeholder updates, and negotiation.
- Stakeholder coordination across multiple departments and remote teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Optional certifications: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, or equivalent.
