Job Description: **Job title** Industrial IT Engineer (F/M) **Role Summary** Design, implement, and maintain industrial IT solutions for a fine‑chemical production line. Optimize equipment utilisation through application development, ensure supervisory system integration, provide staff training, and sustain GMP‑compliant data management and documentation. **Expectations** Deliver reliable, high‑performance supervisory systems that meet regulatory standards. Proactively manage and evolve IT projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support continuous improvement of production processes. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and deploy applications that maximise utilisation of production equipment. - Integrate new production lines into the plant supervisory control system. - Train and assist production personnel on automated installations. - Sustain availability and performance of supervisory systems for chemical workshops. - Ensure database integrity, periodic backups, GMP record availability, and traceability of changes with proper documentation. - Keep system documentation and GMP standards up to date. - Lead and coordinate system‑development projects, defining scope, milestones, and deliverables. **Required Skills** - Expertise in industrial IT with 3+ years in fine‑chemical or similar sector. - Proficient with ABB control‑automation systems (NumeriSys/Infinite Power). - Knowledge of process control and regulation concepts. - Strong analytical, autonomous, and creative problem‑solving abilities. - Effective project management, organisational, and communication skills. - Capability to document and maintain GMP‑compliant records. **Required Education & Certifications** - Engineering degree in Process Engineering, Industrial IT, or equivalent. - Formal training or certification on ABB control‑automation systems (preferred). - Minimum of 3 years industrial‑IT experience in fine‑chemical processes.
