Job Description

Job title: Business Analyst Role Summary: Provide analytical support to the Adult Transformation Team to drive improvement in Adult Social Care. Analyse performance and feedback data to inform decision‑making and support implementation of the new Target Operating Model within the People Experience portfolio. Expectations: - Proven experience in process analysis, data management and governance. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. - Solution‑focused, highly organised, collaborative mindset and passion for using data to influence change in Adult Social Care. - Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, analyse, and interpret performance and feedback data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. - Produce reports, dashboards and visualisations that communicate findings to internal teams and external partners. - Translate data insights into compelling stories that support strategic and operational decisions. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, test, and deliver process improvements. - Support the delivery of the new Target Operating Model by mapping current workflows and recommending enhancements. - Ensure data quality, compliance with governance standards, and maintain up‑to‑date data documentation. - Contribute to agile working practices, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Required Skills: - Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau). - Experience with process mapping and improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). - Strong understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and quality assurance. - Excellent written and verbal communication, tailored to diverse audiences. - Team-oriented with proven ability to influence and manage stakeholders. - Analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and attention to detail. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative working environments. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-ACP, Six Sigma Green Belt) are an advantage but not mandatory.
