Job Description
Job Title: Legal Operations Coordinator Role Summary: Coordinate legal, contract, compliance, and basic financial operations to support senior leadership. Own end‑to‑end contract lifecycle, policy administration, risk assessments, and bookkeeping via Xero, while creating dashboards and process documentation. Provide autonomous, detail‑oriented support in a fully remote setting. Expectations: - Deliver accurate and timely contract, policy, and financial administration. - Maintain high standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance. - Work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with external counsel, suppliers, and internal teams. - Show initiative to grow into advanced finance, process optimisation, or compliance duties. Key Responsibilities: - Manage client and supplier contracts: drafting, review, repository maintenance, renewal tracking, and coordination with external counsel. - Support information‑security policy lifecycle: review, approval coordination, implementation, supplier risk audits, and certification management. - Build and maintain performance dashboards; track and report KPIs for various departments. - Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping in Xero: invoicing, expense processing, bank reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial reports. - Assist with budget monitoring, forecasting, and coordination with external accountants for year‑end filings. - Document processes, optimise workflows, and create concise process guides. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; high proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables). - Excellent written communication and attention to detail. - Ability to self‑teach technical tools (coding, advanced Excel, cloud accounting). - Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment. - Basic financial acumen and numerically confident. Required Education & Certifications: - Law degree (LLB, GDL, or equivalent) with strong academic record. - No mandatory external certifications; self‑taught technical abilities and a demonstrated coding or Excel skillset are preferred.
