**Job Title:** Technical Project Manager – Blood & Plasma **Role Summary:** Lead and manage evidence‑based blood and plasma projects across Sub‑Saharan Africa, coordinating with Flemish experts, local partners, and Red Cross societies. Drive improvements in donor recruitment, production quality, and data‑driven decision making while expanding funding and partnerships. **Expectations:** - Deliver measurable improvements in voluntary blood donation rates and plasma product safety. - Produce rigorous planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting cycles for all projects. - Secure new funding streams and partnership agreements to sustain and scale interventions. - Facilitate capacity building and knowledge transfer between Belgian specialists and international partners. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and execute project plans for donor base expansion and blood/plasma system upgrades. - Monitor project performance against KPIs; generate monthly and quarterly progress reports. - Conduct data analysis, evidence synthesis, and research to refine interventions. - Coordinate with the Center for Evidence‑Based Practice on program evaluation and reporting. - Identify, negotiate, and manage new funding opportunities (foundations, corporates, philanthropists, innovative finance). - Organize and deliver training‑of‑trainers workshops and facilitation sessions. - Travel as required to support partner sites and stakeholder meetings. **Required Skills:** - Proven project management experience (3–4 years), preferably in health or humanitarian settings. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and proactive mindset. - Excellent written and oral communication in English; proficiency in Dutch; French an advantage. - Stakeholder engagement and fundraising expertise. - Facilitation and didactic skills; training‑of‑trainers experience preferred. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in medical, scientific, business, engineering, or related field. - Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
