Job Description
**Job Title:** Strategic Account Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and grow key corporate accounts within the legal sector, principally large law firms across the UK. Build and maintain C‑suite relationships, develop and execute account strategies that drive yearly revenue growth through up‑selling, cross‑selling, and portfolio expansion of BigHand’s technology solutions. **Expectations:** - Achieve consistent year‑over‑year sales growth in assigned accounts. - Develop and maintain a deep network of senior decision‑makers (CFO, COO, GPs) within target firms. - Represent the company at high‑level meetings, conferences, and industry events (≈25 % travel). - Deliver accurate and timely account data in Salesforce, ensuring a clean and actionable pipeline. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and nurture comprehensive relationships across all key personas in target law firms. - Identify and secure up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts. - Articulate the value proposition of BigHand’s software solutions to prospects and stakeholders. - Gather and update client and prospect information in Salesforce; create prospect profiles using publicly available data. - Qualify and route leads from all sources (direct mail, inbound/outbound calls, marketing, events, trade shows). - Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator and social channels to generate engagement and new opportunities. - Conduct thorough prospect research and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads. - Work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional sales teams to close deals. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience selling technical solutions within a large law firm environment. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence senior‑level stakeholders. - Proficiency with Salesforce CRM; knowledge of pipeline management and reporting. - Comfortable using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, social media, and other prospecting tools. - High level of curiosity with strong investigation and probing abilities. - Ability to travel (≈25 %) for client meetings, conferences, and events. - Independent self‑starter who thrives in both solo and team selling contexts. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, law, or related field (preferred). - No mandatory certifications; Salesforce or sales‑enablement certifications are a plus.
