Job Description

**Job Title:** Software Development Lead **Role Summary:** Lead a high‑performing Scrum development squad to deliver innovative web applications for legal professionals. Own architectural design, code quality, and agile best practices while mentoring teammates toward continuous improvement and high‑quality product delivery. **Expectations:** - Provide hands‑on technical leadership and mentorship. - Foster an inclusive, motivated team culture. - Align development with product strategy and compliance requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Guide a Scrum team through end‑to‑end software delivery (design, coding, testing, release). - Act as technical lead on projects, ensuring adherence to architectural vision and departmental standards. - Design and review application architecture (modular monolith, microservices, event‑driven patterns). - Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and manage merge processes. - Champion Agile principles, drive continuous process improvement, and help teams adopt trunk‑based development. - Mentor team members on product and technology skills, facilitating skill growth. - Coordinate DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. - Oversee maintenance and enhancement of existing products and new service development. **Required Skills:** - Deep expertise in C#, .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 8+, Entity Framework. - Proficient in building Single‑Page Applications (SPAs). - Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services. - Experience with Git, trunk‑based development, and CI/CD (ADO or GitHub). - Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural styles. - Test‑Driven Development (TDD) experience. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and team‑building skills. - Strong grasp of Scrum framework and facilitation of agile ceremonies. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Scrum Master certifications (CSM/PMI‑SCRUM).
