**Job Title:** Software Architect **Role Summary:** Lead technical design and architecture for end‑to‑end software systems, manage a team of engineers, translate functional specifications into detailed technical solutions, and ensure delivery meets client expectations and quality standards. **Expectations:** - Own overall system architecture and design quality. - Deliver scalable, maintainable solutions in C++ (primary), with C and Java support. - Manage design risks, provide timely updates to stakeholders. - Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a high‑performance team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead, line‑manage, and support a software engineering team. - Own architecture of software projects from concept to deployment. - Translate functional specifications into detailed technical designs. - Plan, assign, and oversee development tasks within the team. - Provide technical guidance and hands‑on support as needed. - Identify design and development risks; report variance to the Project Manager. - Contribute to coding efforts using C++, C, and Java. **Required Skills:** - Proven senior software design or architecture experience. - Strong C++ development skills (essential). - Familiarity with C and Java programming. - SQL knowledge is an advantage. - Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (desirable). - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
