Job Description

**Job Title** IT Graduate – Artificial Intelligence **Role Summary** Graduate AI engineer within a construction and infrastructure transformation team. The role focuses on identifying, prototyping, and deploying AI and automation solutions to improve plant operations, logistics, and quality control across asphalt and concrete production. **Expactations** - Deliver end‑to‑end AI projects from opportunity identification through pilot to production rollout. - Build and maintain data foundations to enable scalable models. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, logistics, QA) to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Document and share knowledge to increase AI literacy organization‑wide. - Evaluate AI and automation tools/vendors to support evolving requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify high‑impact automation opportunities across manufacturing and logistics. - Rapidly prototype proof‑of‑concept AI solutions (model, data pipelines, dashboards). - Enhance data collection, quality, and governance for reliable model inputs. - Partner with operational staff to map processes before automation. - Develop and maintain documentation, demos, and training materials. - Assist in selecting AI/automation platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, Power Automate). - Deploy solutions to live environments and monitor performance. - Participate in strategy‑level cross‑functional initiatives shaping future AI capabilities. **Required Skills** - Programming: Python or R (data analysis & automation). - Machine learning fundamentals (supervised, unsupervised, model evaluation). - Strong data literacy (collection, quality, governance). - Process‑oriented mindset for modeling and automation. - Analytical problem‑solving and decision‑making. - Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non‑technical teams. - Comfortable with ambiguity and building solutions from scratch. **Desirable Skills** - Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn). - Automation platforms (Power Automate, UiPath) or custom scripting. - Data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Plotly). - Interest in industrial or operational AI applications (manufacturing, logistics). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field. - No mandatory certifications required, but familiarity with relevant AI/automation certifications is a plus.
