**Job title:** Senior Business Analyst (12‑Month FTC)
**Role Summary:**
Lead business analysis for key transformation initiatives within a global beauty retailer. Oversee end‑to‑end delivery from scoping, requirement elicitation, process design, to implementation, ensuring stakeholders’ needs are translated into effective solutions. Mentor junior analysts and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to drive digital and operational efficiencies.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver high‑quality business analysis artifacts (BRDs, BPMN, user stories, wireframes, UAT plans) that enable seamless change implementation.
- Support the organization’s digital transformation roadmap by improving business processes and service delivery.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise on retail/FMCG product systems and product lifecycle management.
- Lead, coach, and grow a small team of junior business analysts.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of BA tools, methodologies, and best practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Own business analysis for selected transformation projects from initiation to go‑live.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and data collection with business stakeholders to uncover pain points and define requirements.
- Produce and validate project scope, estimates, and BA activity plans.
- Create process maps, data flows, system interfaces, test cases, and traceability matrices.
- Contribute to the process catalogue, ensuring alignment with the portfolio’s standards.
- Collaborate closely with technology and change management teams to embed requirements into development and deployment pipelines.
- Lead and mentor junior analysts, reviewing deliverables and ensuring compliance with BA standards.
- Manage risks, issue logs, and status reporting to senior leadership.
- Execute UAT coordination, ensuring customer acceptance and smooth transition.
**Required Skills:**
- Minimum 5 years of senior business analysis experience in retail/FMCG, focusing on product systems.
- Deep knowledge of end‑to‑end retail/FMCG processes, product life‑cycle management, and related downstream systems.
- Proficiency in BA methodologies: requirements gathering, user stories, BPMN, data mapping, test case development, traceability.
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams, with line‑management credentials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
- Proficient with BA tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Jira/Confluence, BMC Remedy).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- Professional BA certification preferred (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent).
