Job Description
**Job Title** Bid Manager **Role Summary** Lead the end‑to‑end bid lifecycle for telecommunications proposals, driving strategy, coordination, and execution to secure contracts and revenue growth. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality commercial and technical bids on time and within budget. - Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and telecom domain expertise. - Manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining tight deadlines. - Continuously improve bid processes and capture lessons learned. **Key Responsibilities** - Own the bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification to contract award. - Develop comprehensive bid strategies, including win themes, pricing models, and risk mitigation. - Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Operations, Supply Chain). - Create, review, and approve RFP/RFQ/RFI responses for telecom solutions (network rollout, managed services, OSS/BSS, 5G, fiber, IoT). - Ensure proposals meet technical, commercial, and contractual standards. - Maintain bid plans, schedules, budgets, and governance documents. - Lead clarification meetings with customers and internal review sessions. - Capture and disseminate lessons learned to enhance future bid performance. **Required Skills** - Bid and proposal management; at least 5 years in telecom or related commercial roles. - Deep understanding of telecom solutions, services, and industry trends. - Project management, organizational, and time‑management skills. - Strong financial and commercial analysis abilities (pricing, margin, risk). - Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder‑management expertise. - Detail‑oriented with high quality standards. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. - Certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2) or bid management (e.g., Certified Proposal Professional) are advantageous but not mandatory.
