Job Description: **Job Title:** Software Development Manager – Remote **Role Summary:** Lead a cross‑functional engineering team that designs, builds, and operates secure, cloud‑native SaaS platform services, initially focused on identity and authentication and later expanding to broader platform capabilities. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, secure microservices that scale to enterprise customers. - Grow an engineering culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Meet reliability, availability, and performance goals while steering product road‑maps. **Key Responsibilities:** - Direct and mentor a focused engineering team, including recruitment, performance reviews, and career growth. - Own the architecture, design, and implementation of identity & authentication services (SSO, OIDC, OAuth2, SAML). - Partner with product and security stakeholders to define priorities and expand platform features. - Champion agile delivery, CI/CD, automated testing, and operational excellence. - Foster cross‑functional collaboration and clear communication with stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years of engineering team management; 5+ years of delivering enterprise‑ready cloud systems. - Strong background in modern programming languages (C#, Go, Java, etc.) and microservices architecture. - Expertise in authentication/authorization protocols (OIDC, SAML, OAuth2). - Hands‑on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; containerization and Kubernetes. - Agile methodology proficiency and experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Cloud or security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP) are advantageous.
