Job Description
**Job Title:** Junior Web Developer **Role Summary:** The Junior Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Microsoft .NET stack. Working closely with senior developers and stakeholders, the role focuses on creating clean, maintainable code, collaborating on agile teams, and delivering functional features to end‑users in both on‑premise and cloud environments. **Expectations:** - Rapidly acquire expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and related front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Apply best practices in coding, testing, and documentation. - Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and extend web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API. - Develop responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, leveraging libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap. - Write efficient SQL queries and interact with Microsoft SQL Server databases. - Deploy applications to local and cloud environments, managing release pipelines. - Maintain source code in Git/Bitbucket, following version control best practices. - Produce clear, maintainable code documentation and user‑friendly guidance. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, iterative delivery cycle. - Provide support and troubleshooting for live production issues. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Basics. - Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front‑end libraries/frameworks. - Experience with SQL Server and query optimization. - Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. - Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for clean, maintainable code. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field **or** equivalent practical experience acquired through bootcamps, personal projects, or prior employment. - Certifications in .NET (e.g., Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer) and SQL Server are a plus but not mandatory.
