Job title: ServiceNow Technical Architect
Role Summary: Lead architecture and configuration of ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC). Design and govern integrations, data models, and governance frameworks to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable platforms.
Expactations: 10+ years in IT with several years hands‑on on ServiceNow. Proven ability to design enterprise architecture, define instance strategy, and drive technical governance. Strong communicator who can translate technical concepts for business leaders and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, document, and deliver ServiceNow architecture solutions across core and industry modules.
- Lead configuration and integration initiatives using REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and custom connectors.
- Define and enforce data modeling, CMDB strategy, and data governance best practices.
- Develop technical governance, operating models, and instance lifecycle plans.
- Evaluate trade‑offs between configuration, custom development, performance, and maintenance.
- Produce detailed architectural artifacts and present to business, technical, and executive audiences.
- Mentor and guide development and implementation teams on best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC).
- Advanced integration experience: REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server, custom connectors.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, CMDB concepts, data governance, and security.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to create and present architectural documentation.
Required Education & Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) mandatory.
- Preferred: Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Integration Specialist (CIS) for relevant modules, Certified Master Architect or Certified Technical Architect.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
