**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and maintain cloud platform solutions aligned with business strategy, digital transformation, and regulatory standards. Lead architecture development for Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and other platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness within an agile framework.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Evaluate and recommend cloud platforms, balancing cost, impact, and strategy alignment.
- Develop and maintain architecture standards, policies, and roadmaps.
- Lead design of cloud infrastructure, ensuring governance and security compliance.
- Support teams with reference materials, proof‑of‑concepts, and guidance.
- Promote DevSecOps practices, automation, and iterative design.
- Keep abreast of technology trends, tools, and best practices.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration, agile ceremonies, and design reviews.
- Provide technical counsel on security, identity management, and key/certificate governance.
- Contribute to vulnerability testing, security assessments, incident response.
- Mentor colleagues and engage in architecture communities.
**Required Skills**
- Proven experience designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes), containerization (Docker), IaC (Terraform, ARM templates).
- Strong networking knowledge: virtual networks, VPN/ExpressRoute, firewalls, application gateways.
- Experience with identity and access management (Okta, Azure AD) and API management (e.g., Apigee).
- Familiarity with storage technologies: Azure SQL, MongoDB, Couchbase; patterns like event sourcing, async messaging, microservices.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools: Azure DevOps, Azure Key Vault, security best practices.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and mentoring abilities.
- Self‑organized, able to manage time and multiple projects.
- Commercial awareness; ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services) preferred.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Microsoft Azure certifications preferred: AZ‑305 (Azure Solutions Architect), AZ‑104 (Azure Administrator), AZ‑400 (DevOps Engineer), AZ‑500 (Security Engineer).
