Job Title: Communications Coordinator Role Summary: Serve as an integral member of the Communications team, coordinating events, administrative tasks, and media outreach while supporting families, patients, and the press team to produce engaging, high‑quality content. Expactations: * Deliver prompt, accurate administrative support to ensure seamless team operations. * Collaborate with press, family stories, and external stakeholders to manage media relations and storytelling initiatives. * Uphold confidentiality and data protection standards when handling personal information. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and organize administrative systems (meeting scheduling, file management, calendar updates). - Coordinate team meetings, events, and communication workflows. - Assist the press team in preparing press releases, media kits, and social media content. - Develop and disseminate family stories, ensuring sensitivity and accuracy. - Track and report on media coverage and campaign impact. - Facilitate collaboration across internal departments to support cross‑functional projects. - Manage day‑to‑day tasks independently, using initiative to prioritize and meet deadlines. Required Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication; ability to tailor content for diverse audiences. - Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities; adept at multitasking under pressure. - Detail‑oriented, with a commitment to producing high‑quality, precise work. - Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Google Workspace) and basic content management systems. - Experience in a communications or administrative role within an office environment. - Understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements. - Demonstrable interest in news, media, and storytelling. - Initiative and independent judgment in problem‑solving.
