**Job Title:**
Zabbix Expert – Supervision & Monitoring
**Role Summary:**
Deploy, configure, and maintain Zabbix monitoring solutions (including NetBox) in complex, critical environments. Provide advanced support (Level 2/3), automate processes, integrate with external tools, and document operational procedures.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT supervision/monitoring.
- Advanced proficiency with the latest Zabbix version; NetBox expertise preferred.
- Strong Linux, networking (SNMP, IPMI), and virtualization (VMware) knowledge.
- Ability to automate with Bash, Python, and Ansible; integrate APIs with Grafana, Prometheus, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Deliver Level 2/3 incident resolution and maintain accurate documentation.
- Demonstrated autonomy, rigor, and teamwork.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, deploy, and maintain Zabbix monitoring infrastructure (templates, dashboards, alerts, tuning, proxies, APIs).
- Manage and configure NetBox for network asset management.
- Automate monitoring tasks using Bash/Python scripts and Ansible playbooks.
- Integrate Zabbix with external systems via APIs (Grafana, Prometheus, Vault).
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support, troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to supervision.
- Author and update procedures, architecture diagrams, and operational guides.
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced Zabbix administration (templates, dashboards, alerting, tuning, proxies, API, scripting).
- Linux system administration.
- Networking (SNMP, IPMI, VLANs, routing).
- Virtualization (VMware ESXi/vCenter).
- NetBox configuration and usage.
- Scripting: Bash, Python.
- Configuration management: Ansible.
- API integration and data visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
- Problem‑solving and incident management at Level 2/3.
- Documentation writing (procedures, architecture diagrams, guides).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
- Zabbix Certified Engineer (ZCE) or similar monitoring certification (highly desirable).
- Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) or comparable (preferred).
