**Job Title**
Senior Cyber Programme Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end cyber engineering programmes for automotive/industrial platforms. Manage cross‑functional teams, budgets, and governance while delivering secure, integrated software and cyber readiness across propulsion, ECUs, and systems.
**Expectations**
- Deliver programmes on schedule and within approved budgets.
- Maintain rigorous governance against applicable standards (UNECE R155, ISO 21434, ISO 26262).
- Provide proactive, data‑driven communication to executive stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Programme leadership: orchestrate concept‑to‑launch plans, manage critical paths, run RAID and change control cycles.
- Budget & reporting: oversee SAP budgets, prepare dashboards, executive packs, and SOMP summaries.
- Stakeholder governance: build relationships with engineering, finance, purchasing, and supplier partners; enforce standards and framework compliance.
- Integrated delivery: plan and ship software packs for propulsion and cross‑domain ECUs; conduct system requirements reviews and incorporate DFMEA/PFMEA risks.
- Cyber security: coordinate VKMS/crypto agility, HSM/SecOC, secure boot, SW signing, firewalling, IDS, IPsec/TLS, logging/telemetry.
- Test & verification: ensure HIL and on‑vehicle coverage matches requirements; manage test cases and risk alignment.
- Issue & quality management: drive root‑cause analysis via AIMS/Jira, track defect burn‑down, enforce containment, and report outcomes.
- Planning & readiness: produce gateway status summaries, manage integrated plans across engineering and industrialisation, report fleet usage, and maintain compliance evidence (security, TARAs, pen‑tests, audits).
**Required Skills**
- Technical background in software, controls, cybersecurity, or systems integration.
- Proven programme/project management in complex automotive or embedded systems.
- Proficiency with PCDS (or equivalent), Agile/Scaled Agile (Scrum/Kanban), RAID, change control, and gateway management.
- Deep understanding of vehicle electrical architectures, multi‑ECU integration, and propulsion systems.
- Automotive cybersecurity expertise (UNECE R155, ISO 21434; ISO 26262 familiarity).
- Secure software delivery lifecycle knowledge, requirement traceability, and verification planning.
- Strong root‑cause analysis, cost/impact assessment, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication across executive, engineering, and supplier audiences.
- Tool proficiency: AIMS, Jira, Confluence, SAP, DOORS (or equivalent), MS/Google productivity suites, HIL/validation environments.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, cybersecurity, or related field.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2) or Agile (CSM, SAFe) are advantageous.
