**Job Title:** Software Engineer - Data Integration - Backend **Role Summary** Develop high-performance backend systems for data integration and migration solutions, leveraging databases, cloud services, and enterprise-grade open-source technologies to enhance data platform capabilities. Focus on fault-tolerant, scalable systems for transactional and analytical workloads. **Expectations** 5+ years in backend development with Java (or Go/Python); expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and distributed systems. Requires collaboration on global teams and experience with CI/CD, database systems, and production deployment. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and maintain backend services for data integration and migration platforms. - Collaborate with product teams, frontend engineers, and designers to deliver cohesive user experiences. - Participate in full product lifecycle stages: ideation, testing, deployment, and operational support. - Optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. **Required Skills** - 5+ years backend development in Java, Go, or Python. - Proficiency in Java/Go, Spring Boot, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes. - Database expertise: PostgreSQL, Oracle, and procedural SQL. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform). - Deployment and operation of software on Kubernetes. - Test automation (JUnit/TestNG). - Distributed systems experience (e.g., database clusters, cloud infrastructure). **Required Education & Certifications** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. No industry-specific certifications required.
