Job Description
**Job Title** Consultant, Advanced Analytics: Meta-Analysis (HTA Statistician) **Role Summary** Provide statistical methodology, data analysis, and evidence synthesis expertise for health technology assessment (HTA) and access projects in the pharmaceutical sector. Lead analytical work from design to delivery, support cross‑functional teams, and ensure quality outputs that meet client and HTA requirements. **Expectations** - Deliver technical leadership in advanced analytics and meta‑analysis. - Mentor junior analysts and senior associates. - Maintain client relationships and project quality. - Stay current with HTA methodologies and evidence generation trends. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and develop study protocols, conduct network meta‑analysis, pairwise meta‑analysis, mixed treatment comparison, and indirect comparisons. - Plan and execute survival analysis, generalized linear models, Bayesian models, and meta‑regression. - Interpret and communicate results to clinical, commercial, and health‑economics teams. - Draft statistical documentation and support evidence generation for reimbursement submissions. - Identify evidence gaps, select data sources, and design robust evidence‑generation plans. - Collaborate with affiliates to integrate statistical insights into local HTA submissions. - Participate in methodology development and continuous improvement within the Evidence Chapter. - Maintain project efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction, and flag training needs. **Required Skills** - Advanced statistical and analytical skills (GLM, survival analysis, Bayesian methods). - Proficiency in R and GitLab; experience with SAS, Python, WinBUGS, JAGS or similar tools welcomed. - Strong research design, systematic review, and evidence synthesis expertise. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. - Strategic thinking, collaboration, organization, and deadline management. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s or Doctorate in Applied Statistics, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline. - Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consulting, HTA/reimbursement agencies, or academia.
