Job Description
**Job title:** Interim Legal Counsel – Commercial IP (Media) **Role Summary:** Provide interim legal counsel for a leading global media business, focusing on commercial and marketing legal matters. Draft, negotiate, and manage a high volume of B2B and B2C agreements, including MSAs, marketing contracts, and content‑related IP agreements. **Expectations:** - 2–4 years post‑qualification (PQE) experience in commercial IP or content law. - Active engagement in contract lifecycle management and legal process support. - Awareness of data protection laws and platform‑based media operations is advantageous. **Key Responsibilities:** - Draft, negotiate, and finalize commercial agreements (B2B, B2C, marketing, MSAs). - Advise on content creation, acquisition, distribution, and the associated IP considerations. - Coordinate contract lifecycle activities and maintain legal documentation. - Offer strategic support to commercial, marketing, and procurement teams. **Required Skills:** - Strong drafting and negotiation skills in commercial contracts. - Expertise in commercial IP or media content law. - Ability to handle high‑volume, time‑sensitive contracting. - Knowledge of data protection regulations and media platform dynamics. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Qualified lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister, or equivalent) with a valid practising licence. - 2–4 years post‑qualification experience in commercial IP or content law.
