Job Title: Solutions Engineer Intern
Role Summary:
Intern will support the Solutions Engineering team in high‑speed digital and optical measurement solutions, engage with customers, and assist in technical demonstrations and problem resolution.
Expectations:
* Work full‑time during the summer internship period.
* Demonstrate eagerness to learn, strong communication, and a drive to succeed.
* Act independently, collaborate across teams, and present technical concepts persuasively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior Solutions Engineers to gain expertise in high‑speed test equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, AWGs, protocol analyzers, optical test systems).
- Assist in laboratory solutions of customer measurement challenges.
- Participate in customer meetings, support technical sales process, and create compelling presentations.
- Develop application knowledge in PCIe, CXL, USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, IEEE/OIF 200G/400G/800G, DDR, MIPI PHY, automotive interfaces, optical transceivers, and coherent optics.
- Conduct signal‑integrity, jitter, TDR, network, protocol, and wide‑band analysis support.
Required Skills:
- Solid foundation in electrical/computer engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in programming (C#, C, Python, MATLAB).
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Problem‑solving abilities.
- Knowledge of high‑speed digital/optical interfaces and test equipment preferred.
- Ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Current enrollment toward a BS (or MS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
- No specific certifications required, but familiarity with industry standards (PCIe, USB, IEEE/OIF, DDR, MIPI) is highly desirable.
