About our role
Our client is a leading name in the Belgian retail industry, committed to delivering exceptional shopping experiences. They are seeking a passionate and results-driven Digital Media Expert to lead their digital media strategy and ensure optimal execution of campaigns. In this role, you’ll manage substantial digital budgets, optimise paid media investments, and collaborate with diverse teams and a marketing agency to enhance brand engagement, online traffic, and sales.

What you will be doing
Digital Media Strategy: Implement and optimise the digital media strategy to drive brand differentiation and meet predefined KPIs.
Define and integrate strategic visions into media briefings.
Use digital channels like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook to enhance brand awareness.
Develop an omnichannel approach tailored to objectives and audiences.
Digital Channel Planning: Develop and execute digital campaigns in collaboration with agencies and stakeholders.
Create and manage campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google Ads, and DV360.
Align campaigns with broader marketing goals, ensuring consistency across all channels.
Monitor metrics and provide actionable insights for ongoing optimisation.
Digital Expertise: Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in digital media to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Benchmark against industry standards and attend relevant seminars/events.
Ensure the application of cutting-edge tools and methodologies in campaigns.
Measurement & Reporting: Analyse and report on campaign performance to refine strategies.
Utilise tools like Adobe Analytics to evaluate ROAS and overall impact.
Share findings with stakeholders and implement data-driven optimisations.
Budget Management: Oversee and optimise a digital budget of €6-7 million, ensuring cost efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster relationships with internal teams and external agencies to align on objectives and deliver exceptional outcomes.

What you bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
At least 2 years of experience in digital media or advertising roles; retail experience is a plus.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in managing campaigns on platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, and DV360.
Excellent storytelling, customer focus, and collaboration abilities.
