Job Description: **Job Title** Business Insights Analyst **Role Summary** Design, maintain, and communicate data‑driven insights through reports and dashboards to support informed decision‑making for stakeholders in wholesale distribution. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, timely reporting on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. - Enhance reporting assets continuously to meet evolving needs. - Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. **Key Responsibilities** - Create and manage a suite of regular reports and interactive dashboards using Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL. - Conduct in‑depth KPI, market trend, and customer behaviour analyses. - Engage stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations to define requirements, explain findings, and provide guidance on data usage. - Proactively improve processes to increase reporting efficiency and accuracy. - Support ad hoc data requests and deliver insights that identify growth opportunities. - Document SOPs for reporting and analysis workflows. - Monitor emerging data tools and industry best practices to keep reporting capabilities current. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and visualization. - Understanding of statistical concepts, data modelling, and data warehousing principles. - Data manipulation, cleansing, and transformation expertise. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication to present findings to non‑technical audiences. - Collaborative mindset with cross‑functional teams. - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. - Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field. - Optional certifications: Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Power BI Associate, or equivalent SQL certification enhance candidacy.
