**Job Title**
Senior Data Analyst
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, development, and delivery of data analytics solutions for the Health, Safety, Security, and Wellbeing (HSSW) function. Drive insights, dashboards, and predictive models that inform strategic decision‑making and elevate analytics maturity across the organization.
**Expectations**

- Mentor junior analysts and lead small cross‑functional project teams.
- Influence best practices in data governance, visualisation, and cloud analytics.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Translate business needs into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and predictive models using Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Conduct statistical analysis, forecasting, and machine‑learning modeling.
- Identify and investigate data anomalies and trend opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR).
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake).
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years in a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst role.
- Advanced SQL proficiency; strong experience with Python or R.
- Expertise in at least one data visualisation platform (Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau).
- Experience with cloud data services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake).
- Solid knowledge of statistical methods, forecasting, and machine‑learning techniques.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling ability.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and lead small teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI, Tableau Desktop Specialist, AWS Certified Data Analytics) are a plus.
