**Job Title**
EPR Test Analyst
**Role Summary**
An experienced Test Analyst responsible for ensuring the safe, high‑quality enhancement and integration of Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems. The role focuses on thorough testing of new features, integrations, and expanded modules within a clinical and operational environment.
**Expectations**
- Deliver comprehensive test coverage for functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end scenarios.
- Validate interoperability with internal systems, external partners, and third‑party applications.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare IT standards.
- Communicate effectively with technical, clinical, and supplier teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, scripts, and scenarios for EPR enhancements and integrations.
2. Perform functional, integration, regression, interface, and end‑to‑end workflow testing.
3. Validate HL7/FHIR messaging, API‑driven workflows, and data exchange across systems.
4. Review change requests, requirements, and specifications for testability and alignment with clinical needs.
5. Manage defects, track progress, and maintain clear testing documentation using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
6. Contribute to risk assessments, quality assurance reporting, and continuous process improvement.
7. Support release cycles, upgrades, and phased expansion activities.
**Required Skills**
- Proven Test Analyst experience in healthcare IT, specifically with EPR integration or expansion projects.
- In‑depth understanding of clinical workflows and NHS (or equivalent) processes.
- Hands‑on experience with structured testing methodologies (Agile, V‑Model, ISTQB‑aligned).
- Interface and integration testing expertise (HL7, FHIR, APIs, middleware).
- Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective communication with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Desirable: experience with data validation or data flow troubleshooting.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related field.
- ISTQB certification (or equivalent) preferred.
